Terms

Who you are dealing with

To be completed before launch. The company’s registered name, number, address and a contact email belong here. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

What Nano is

A tool for organising your own life: tasks, goals, habits, notes, appointments and a journal, with some of it assisted by AI.

It is not a medical device, a diagnosis, a treatment, or advice of any professional kind. If something you write in Nano needs a doctor, a lawyer or an accountant, it needs one of those and not this.

Your account

One person, one account. Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for what you put into it being lawful and yours to put there.

You must be 18 or over. Nano is not built for children and is not offered to them.

Paying

The free plan is free and stays free, with no card. Paid plans are £9.99 and £19.99 a month, or £99 and £199 a year, and renew automatically until you cancel. We email you before every charge.

Payment is handled by our payment provider, who is the merchant of record — they appear on your statement and account for the tax. Nano never sees your card number.

Cancel any time in Settings. You keep what you paid for until the end of that period, and nothing is deleted when it ends — your data stays and the free plan carries on.

Refunds

If you are within 14 days of a first payment, ask and you get it back. No reason needed.

After that, if something went wrong on our side — a charge you did not expect, a feature that did not work — ask anyway. The free plan exists so that nobody has to buy Nano to find out whether it suits them, and being difficult about a refund would make that pointless.

What we owe you

To keep it running, to fix what breaks, to back it up nightly, and to give you every byte of your data on request without argument.

Not a guarantee that it is never down. It is one product, run by a small operation, and pretending otherwise would be its own kind of dishonesty. Keep an export if something in Nano is the only copy.

What the AI does and does not do

The assistant reads what you write and sometimes gets it wrong. It may put an appointment on the wrong day, misread a letter, or say something about your week that is not quite right. Check anything that matters — especially dates read out of a photograph.

You own what you write. We claim no rights over it beyond what is needed to run the service for you, and we do not train anything on it.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any moment, from Settings, without asking anyone. That is the end of it — no retention offer, no survey.

We may close an account that is used to break the law, to attack the service, or to harm someone. That is the whole list.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters — price, what you get, how your data is handled — you get told before it takes effect, not after. Typo fixes we will just make.
